Baldgin disc

What is the best way for a baldgin disc to heel. It happen almost 2 years ago and I thought it was fine. Till I was trail riding and I went over a tree in the trail. from when I thought it held till almost 3 weeks ago I use to ride/race MX and it would never hurt. The pain is almost gone but I wish there was a cure for it instade of surgery. My dad surgin said I was to young for surgery. They was gonna do some short of shot if it never got better. Should I worry about it and just dont trail ride for a long period of time. I rode for a good 5-6 hours stright without a brake. When I rode/Race MX I was never on my Quad for no longer then 1 hour...
As anyone else had problems with Baldgin disc.

I would recommend physical therapy. Try to avoid going under the knife.
I have been dealing with severe whiplash since 1997. I have been to every kind of doctor you can imagine and spent thousands of dollars in the process. Finally the best relief I found was free, a physical therapy website that showed simple "exercises" to do. So simple in fact you would think it would never help, but it does. I have to live with the fact that my neck will never completely heal, but at least I know now how to work throw the flare ups. And yes, it is painful to do this physical therapy, especially during a flare up.
Here is just one site I found about the back:

Other than my "exercises" I have found that electrical stimulation is the next best thing...
In fact I have been tempted to buy one of these:

He met it Our insurance company kept saying that his tests didnt show that the pain was from the disc or an unstable spine. But we kept pushing and did an appeal. They finally caved. He is great now
