ATVA Nationals @ Birch Creek 4/18-19 (Read 556 times)

I'll be going down Thursday evening to practice all day friday and I'll be racing in Open C and 4stroke C if not drop one of those 2 classes and run 25+.

I'd like to go but I'll have just as much fun at Bodatious. My engine let go this past weekend so I'm scrambling right now to get it back together before the 18th.

Oh I hear ya Steve, If I wasnt going I'de be at Bodatious also except runnin in the 400 and 4 stroke class lol. That stinks about your engine, Barry is going through cleaning my Carb out real good since I was having some issues with it picking up trash this past weekend. I already put a inline fuel filter on between the tank and carb this week.

The first moto it was runnin great untill I knocked the rear skid plate loose in which knocked my chain off twice so i got a DNF, but got 2nd the second moto.

Yea no doubt! I knew there was going to be some bugs to get worked out since it sat for so long but didnt expect the trash since I had drained it all out before hand. Otherwise it should be good now but 2 days and we will see lol. Did you get yours back together for this weekend? I was thinkin with $$ being tight about just coming down to Bodatious and runnin in the 400 class along with the 4-stroke class too but would anyone in the 400 class protest me cause i'de be on a 400 runnin with you and Keith who are on 450's? lol

No I don't have it together yet. I bought another engine but it had its own issues that I am waiting on parts for. I knew I wouldn't have time to rebuild my other engine because it hurt the crank and trashed the head, both parts will need machine work.

I don't think anyone will care if you run the 400 in both classes. They'd only care if you were trying to run a 700 in the 400 class. You could prolly run the 400, 4 stroke and Raptor class.

That sucks when something lets go and does a number the everything inside the engine! Hmm I guess next Bodatious I'll be runin a few classes then for a little more practice lol. See I can pull some more holeshots lol

what a weekend! I met lots of great people including Dustin Wimmer, and John Natlie..again. I ran the 450C and Open C classes and in my first moto's on Saturday I got 5th in my 450C heat race and 1st in the Open C class. On Sunday we were the 1st moto on the track in 450C which I placed 9th to get 10th overall. Then in the Open C class I pulled a great holeshot but a guy spunout in front of me and i got hung up...but got free and pushed my lil 400 as hard as she had ever been pushed and came from 17th to 3rd about 12 bike lengths from 1st and 2nd place guys.
